If you're reading this it's pretty much guaranteed that you know what's up. You know that Top 40, Country and Rock have all been taking a rather alarming dive in quality as of late. You know that if there's a party involved, nothing can build energy on the dance floor quite like Electronic Music. It's a completely different format that's catered to an insatiable desire for recklessness and debauchery. To put it another way, if genres were sandwiches it would be something like this. Top 40 would be bologna on cheap white bread with a nice glaze of sewage. Rock would be a rudimentary looking steak sandwich trapped in a world where only a handful of people know how to cook a good steak. Country, however, would be a large fat pasty white dude with a "Selma + Keith Forever" tattoo on his forearm serving you a cracker with a dead rat on it. He would then proceed to whine incessantly about his truck and ex-girlfriend over the twang of the devil's guitar. Electronic Dance Music on the other hand wouldn't be a sandwich at all but rather an enormous, beautifully constructed tower of all the food you love. That's not all either, some of the foods have been mixed together to create entirely new flavors that barrage your taste buds until no more flavor can be tolerated. Then it beds you and takes you on a life fulfilling trip across Europe. I say put me down for 2.

If I had to pick one word to describe this week's podcast it would be the word: dayyyyyumboitheressomesickgoinsonroundhea. Now I know what you and the large squiggly line that is my spell check are thinking, that it's not a word at all and that there should be more money invested in jetpack research. Well you're right, there should be more money poured into making our own personal flying machines. There are lots of reasons for this, the most important being their ability to distract readers from obvious string on words and also, probably, their ability to hurl you through the air like that pedestrian you hit and ran from last Thursday night at 8 pm totally by accident and then felt bad about so you added it to your podcast description subconsciously. Also they sound like fighter jets, case closed. However, since that isn't an option, you'll just have to make do with this episode buuuuuut I think that it'll do the trick nicely.
